Have you ever wondered how that venerable Penfolds bottle in your cellar is getting on?
Many Penfolds fans found out at the first-ever Penfolds Red Wine Recorking Clinic in London on 16 November 2001. Bottles with low levels or damaged corks were opened, the wine was tasted, then topped up and re-corked.
The Clinic, free of charge, was run by Penfolds chief winemaker John Duval.
